The Council on Aging - Silicon Valley

The Council on Aging fulfills both traditional and innovative roles to serve the residents in Santa Clara County.

We are an independent non-profit organization and the State-designated Area Agency on Aging (AAA) for Santa Clara County. Our mission is to improve the lives of older and disabled county residents and to help them remain in their chosen homes and communities.

The Council on Aging uses innovative approaches to achieve this mission. Through new technology and best practices our agency is constantly improving assistance and care for seniors, family members and care givers.

To accomplish our aim of extending services to many more seniors than ever before, we not only seek government funding, but contributions from other organizations, companies and individuals. Also, where possible, we aim to extend services to those individuals who may not qualify for government assistance by asking them to help cover our cost of providing these services.
